About Flora Schools
HOW FLORA SCHOOLS STARTED

Flora Schools which started as Flora Kindergarten was established by Dr. (Mrs) Florence Uchechukwu Onyejekwe in 1996. The establishment of Flora Kindergarten was born out of passion precisely on 16th September. 1996. The School started with just three (3) Pupils, Aiman Rahman, Habibat Lawal, Funmilola Akinleye, three (3) members of Staff and a nanny Mrs Sarah Olaoyetayo (known as Mama Ronke). Mummy Flora as she was fondly called was faced majorly with some challenges in the early days of School but her passion kept her going through the storm. She came out stronger as the school grew. Flora Kindergarten grew to become a full Nursery and Primary school which was a point of attraction and inspiration to many. Every aspect of the school showed excellence from the uniform to the outstanding teaching and learning outcomes. The school became a pacesetter in the education sector in llorin, Kwara State, and the Nation at large. Flora Kindergarten Nursery and Primary School has continued to grow tremendously. On 18th September 2006, exactly ten (10) years after the primary School arm was established Flora College, the Secondary arm of the School started. The college started with four (4) Students, Abdulateef Abioye, Awolade Moyinoluwa. Mohammed Zubair, and Ifeanyi Okoli. Fourteen (14) teaching Staff and five (5) non-teaching staff.
