The foundation was established in April 2022 through the initiative of the Late Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Uchechukwu Onyejekwe's children in order to continue the legacy of their dear mum.

The foundation is geared with the vision of a society that thrives through education at all levels and the mission to alleviate poverty and improve social mobility through innovative education.

The foundation has the goals of training teachers in STEM, empowering widows and also training students in sport activities among others.

The foundation has successfully trained thirty-three (33) teachers from various private schools across Ilorin South Local Government. The foundation has awarded the best seven (7) trainees from both the first and second groups with laptops to empower and establish them as to pass the knowledge gained during the training to develop themselves as well as their students in their various schools, all aimed at human development.
